Emil Stanisław Rappaport

Emil Stanisław Rappaport (8 July 1877 – 10 August 1965) was the son of Feliks Rappaport and Justyna Bauerertz and a Polish Jewish lawyer .〔(Janusz Niedziela w: The International Conference to Commemorate Jewish Lawyers and Jurist in Poland and Mark their Contribution to the Polish Legal System. The International association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurist. Nr 28, 2001 )〕 He was a specialist in criminal law and a founder of the doctrine of international criminal law. In 1930, he was awarded the Commander's Cross with Star of Order of Polonia Restituta.〔(M.P. z 1930 r. Nr 260, poz. 351 )〕
== Education ==
From 1897-1901 he studied law at the Russian Imperial University of Warsaw. In 1910 received a Doctor of Law degree at the university in Neuchâtel in Switzerland.
